Helping Songs

Hello everyone, here are the songs I promised.

First one I learned from the physical therapist I worked with at Adams Camp. Great for at home or transition activities and great for a classroom!

Lyrics, sung in the same tune of “If You’re Happy and you Know it Clap You’re Hands” with clapping always helps too!

“It’s time for us to move along!
It’s time for us to move along.
Our time is done but we sure had fun!
It’s time for us to move along!”

Here is a sample of myself singing the song:

Second song also great for transitions from play to work is the song from “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”.

Lyrics.

“Hi ho!
Hi ho!
Hi ho!
Hi ho, hi ho, hi ho.
Hi ho, hi ho it’s off to work we go.
We had our fun now there’s work to be done!
Hi ho, hi ho, hi ho, hi ho!”

Repeat as many times as necessary for your kiddo (maybe on the way from location of playing to work area).

Here is another sample of me singing the song…badly:

Then for the reverse, going from work to play you can do the same song with a slight alteration but with the same melody.

“Hi ho!
Hi ho!
Hi ho!
Hi ho, hi ho, hi ho.
Hi ho, hi ho it’s off to play we go.
We did our work now there’s fun to be done!
Hi ho, hi ho, hi ho, hi ho!”

Hope this is helpful.
